HI!! My area of expertise is Secondary Mathematics ... but I have strong feelings about a lot of the things I see happening in education ... and I like to write down my thoughts ...

I love the TI 83/Plus...I think this calculator would work for every student from 5th grade on, unless you become a "math" major in college.
The TI-Nspire is sweet, but very confusing and has way to much info for the general student.
Calcs are the best tool in the classroom and I believe they should be used daily...there is not a job in the world where the boss would say, "Sir/Ma'am...could you solve this in your head for me?"
just my opinion.
